Bridget Rosewell CBE FAcSS FICE is a Commissioner for the National Infrastructure Commission and Chair of the Independent Review into Planning Appeal Inquiries.
Bridget has a non-executive portfolio with public and private organisations. She has founded several economic consultancies, all of which are still successfully operating. As a Commissioner for the independent National Infrastructure Commission, Bridget has led on its project on Northern connectivity and the East West corridor from Cambridge to Oxford.
Her interests include risk and risk management, infrastructure and its funding, public and private sector co-operation, planning policy and corporate management. She publishes and presents in these areas as well as working with clients.
Bridget is an experienced director, policy maker and economist. She has a track record in advising public and private sector clients on key strategic issues, working extensively on cities, infrastructure and finance, advising on projects in road and rail and on major property developments and regeneration.
Bridget’s book Reinventing London (London Publishing Partnership, 2013) provides a vision of the future city that addresses questions of sustainability and the economics of cities.
She was appointed Chair of the Independent Review into Planning Appeal Inquiries in June 2018.
